How it works
Three steps, one goal: letting skin be skin again
Skin that feels tight, turns red easily and is dry again within hours?
It doesn’t add ceramides: it helps your skin make its own.
Cerabest works with your skin, not on top of it: with DermaACB®, a bio-active complex derived from Streptococcus thermophilus ferments, it supports the natural process through which skin produces endogenous ceramides. Designed for times when skin is more vulnerable, including alongside treatments that put its balance under strain, on intact skin.

If your cream only brings relief for a few hours, your skin may not need something extra. It may need help doing what it already knows how to do.
Light to apply. Even four times a day.
A cream you enjoy using is a cream you actually use. Cerabest has a light texture that absorbs quickly and leaves a non-greasy, invisible finish.

Gentle even on skin that reacts easily.
Suitable for all skin types and gentle even on sensitive, reactive skin, Cerabest brings comfort, helps soothe the look of redness and moisturises, helping skin hold on to moisture. Day after day, it supports your skin’s natural renewal.
And because it isn’t greasy, you can apply it whenever you need it, then get on with your day.
Your skin already knows how to protect itself
Your skin barrier works like a wall: skin cells are the bricks, and ceramides are the mortar holding them together. Your skin makes them itself.
But when skin is dry, sensitive or under stress, this process slows down. The wall loses cohesion, moisture escapes more easily, and skin starts to feel tight, turn red and crave cream all day long.
We don’t add ceramides. We help your skin make its own.
Ceramide creams supply them from the outside: real relief, but tied to each application.
Cerabest takes a different path. With DermaACB®, a bio-active complex derived from Streptococcus thermophilus ferments, it supports the natural process your skin uses to make its own ceramides.
How it works
Three steps, one goal: letting skin be skin again

Keep it within reach: in the bathroom, in your bag, on your desk.
After a shower – when skin feels tight as soon as it’s dry: it absorbs quickly, so you can get dressed straight away
Frequently washed hands – when soap and constant washing dry them out. No slippery fingers: back to your keyboard, phone or steering wheel in moments
Before make-up – a light, non-greasy make-up base for sensitive skin
In air-conditioned spaces – at the office, in the car, on a plane: reapply whenever you need it, without leaving skin sticky
After sun and sea – to bring comfort back to dry skin
After shaving or hair removal – on areas that redden easily
In winter – with cold, wind and central heating
After dermatological or aesthetic treatments – such as laser or peels, on intact skin and as advised by your specialist
Faster recovery after fractional CO₂ laser resurfacing
Dermatological study · 62 subjects
Cerabest was dermatologically tested as a supportive cosmetic solution in a post-laser context, where the skin barrier is intensely stressed. This makes it a particularly useful model for understanding how barrier-focused support can contribute to skin comfort and recovery.
Cerabest demonstrated faster recovery of visible post-procedure signs compared with standard protocols.
I used Cerabest on a visible, red and raised scar. After just the first application, my skin felt softer and more comfortable, as if the area were less ‘tight’.
I continued using it consistently over time and, months later, the appearance of my skin seems much improved: the colour looks less intense and the scar is visually more integrated with the surrounding skin.
Marked skin · translated from Italian
My hands were damaged by cold weather, detergents and constant washing.
After 3 days with Cerabest, the difference was already clearly visible.
I applied it during the day whenever I felt the need, because it does not leave the skin greasy. For me, it was a real ‘hand-saving’ cream during the worst days of winter.
Dry hands · translated from Italian
I was looking for a gentle cream for a very sensitive area, where even deodorants often bother me.
After just 3 days my skin looked softer, smoother and more even. It felt really comfortable on my skin.

Ceramides from outside or from within: two different approaches
Supply ceramides from the outside
Top up the skin’s lipid content
Comfort tied to each application
Helps skin make its own ceramides
Supports the barrier’s natural processes
Guides skin towards greater self-sufficiency
Morning, evening, whenever your skin feels tight: 2 to 4 times a day.
Massage gently into clean skin until fully absorbed.
Elaborate routine or just one step: Cerabest fits both. In the morning as a light make-up base, at night as your night cream, on face and body.
No. DermaACB® is a bio-active complex derived from Streptococcus thermophilus ferments: it contains no live bacteria. That’s why the cream is stored and shipped at room temperature.
Shipping is free on orders over €50. If your order also includes refrigerated products, the free-shipping threshold is €100. Delivery times depend on your country.

The goal is to help stabilise skin function over time.
It can also be used in children, on intact skin, unless otherwise advised by the paediatrician, and after checking individual tolerability.
Cerabest is not a cortisone medicine; it does not replace products prescribed by a doctor.
Yes, Cerabest contains a light fragrance; approximately 0.1%.
Cerabest is a restructuring cosmetic cream designed to support the skin barrier when the skin is dry, sensitive, reactive or going through phases of particular vulnerability. It can be used as a daily cosmetic complement alongside topical corticosteroid therapies or to help the skin regain comfort after they are discontinued.
Its restructuring action makes it an ideal ally for managing the particular vulnerability of intact skin. It does not replace medical treatments, but it can have a place as daily cosmetic support on intact skin.
The research
From research on beneficial bacteria to your skin
Cerabest grew out of the work of Professor Claudio De Simone, physician and researcher, who studied how Streptococcus thermophilus ferments can support the skin’s natural ceramide production. His research has been published in international scientific journals.
